About Gala Fine Chocolates & Gifts

Gala Fine Chocolates & Gifts was a foundation store back in 2007 when Mirvac newly developed the Orion Shopping Centre in Springfield, west of Brisbane. Debbi Engler has grown her passion for just chocolates into a thriving destination for gifts of all types.

When they first started, their target was even slightly geared to men, with the idea that they could walk in, pick out a gift, chocolates, wrapping paper and card- the team at Gala would wrap the present and the customer could walk out and go straight home with the gift. Whilst this is still very much an endearing part of their clientele, Debbi and the Team advocate for a much larger target market now, with something for everyone.

Debbi and her team are all locals and are driven by a commitment to exceptional customer service and product. No matter what happens, you will always find a smile on Debbi´s face.
One of her drivers is helping others, and to that end, Debbi organises a very special Easter egg raffle each year. This year she was delighted that even with some hiccups along the way (see this linked article), they were able to raise over $2000 for CanTeen to help young people living with cancer.

The main aims of Gala Fine Chocolates and Gifts is to have a vast range of chocolates, confectionery and gifts to please everyone, leading to their slogan — Something for Everyone!

Debbi´s store consists of specialty chocolates from Hillier´s Fine Range, English, American and New Zealand chocolates, gift baskets, bridal & party chocolate supplies, lots of lollies and "the old day´s" favourites. Pressies for everyone and anyone, babies, teachers, loved ones - beautiful bears, Beanie Kids and anything your heart may desire.... I´m sure you can find that special "Something for Everyone".
